Everyone can call them WWE’s version of TNA’s The Beautiful People but in my opinion, LayCool are nothing like them. Michelle McCool and Layla El are more like popular college chicks that like to bully their classmates. They’re funnier and more tolerable to watch, and I think McCool is probably better or, at least, at par with Angelina Love in terms of wrestling skills and charisma. The only thing I didn’t like was their involvement in the Mickie James storyline before. It was tasteless..but they can’t do anything about it anyway. Now, after splitting the WWE Women’s Championship between the two for months and after WWE teased their breakup, LayCool is on top of the WWE Divas division again. Layla helped McCool to win the Unified Divas Championship in a unification match against Melina at the recent WWE Night of Champions. Indeed, these two are becoming more famous and flawless as time goes on.

Over at SmackDown, there’s a man that has been under the radar for the past several months now, despite being one of the best heels and most compelling characters in WWE today (aside from Kane). CM Punk, after suffering a minor injury, hasn’t been the main focus of WWE’s Friday Night Smackdown lately. With the main event scene focusing on Kane and The Undertaker, CM Punk and his Straight Edge Society were left feuding with The Big Show. It’s not that much of an atrocity to be honest, but CM Punk and his group should’ve been injected somehow in this Kane-Undertaker nth feud to keep things complicated. Maybe after this feud, CM Punk will go at it with The Undertaker again come November-December.  This man has evolved time and time again and keeps his character interesting, even after getting his head shaved bald. He talks and acts menacing, and continues to improve into an all-around WWE Superstar despite being good already. He even said that he’s the most dangerous man on Smackdown today. That’s a killer line right there. I would like to see him as a World Heavyweight Champion when WrestleMania 27 rolls around and defend it against the upcoming top babyface of SmackDown, whoever takes that torch.

Michael Cole, for storyline purposes, has been building up The Miz every chance he gets. Who could blame the man? The Miz is the hottest rising WWE Superstar as of the moment. At first, most of us, if not everyone, thought that he was a joke, that he’s bound to stay in midcard hell..but he proved everyone wrong. I even thought that when he said that he’s the Shawn Michaels of his team with John Morrison was nothing but pure BS. Boy was I ever wrong. The guy certainly has widen the gap between him and Morrison. Also, his constant feud with Daniel Bryan has always been something to look forward to. That says a lot about The Miz. He’s riding a hot streak right now and will probably culminate with a WWE Championship win at WrestleMania 27. That would be awesome for WWE’s next main eventer.
