It’s a shameful thing (LOL pun intended) that this feud has been nothing but weak. Sheamus’ Royal Rumble win didn’t have that meaningful importance at all, storyline and TV-wise. Heck, even Daniel Bryan’s World Title run has been dogged with cheap wins. With Rock vs. Cena, Punk vs. Jericho and Undertaker vs. Triple H all getting major build towards WrestleMania 28, WWE wasn’t able to give this feud that much push. They totally blew their chance to make this something special because this match IS and SHOULD BE special. These 2 WWE Superstars are their future. Both of them deserve a bigger spotlight than what they got during their road to WrestleMania 28.

Now I hope these two will tear the house down despite the dismal build. Along with Orton vs. Kane, this match ranks up there in stealing the show. The brawling style of Sheamus versus the all-world technical wrestling of Daniel Bryan should make for a very good showing. This is their only trump card since there’s no real heat or hatred between them. The crowd will be electric too for sure since I believe there’ll be a lot of Bryan supporters in there who are ready to boo Sheamus out of the building. I wouldn’t be surprised by that. These 2 will definitely thrive on the pressure-packed situation. As for the winner, Sheamus is the obvious pick..although I do see Bryan retaining the title too. YES! YES! YES!

Teddy Long or John Laurinaitis? Who’s gonna seize control of WWE’s top 2 shows? With power hanging on the balance, these 2 GMs have assembled their WrestleMania 28 teams that will battle for their personal GM choices. The babyface Team Teddy consists of Santino (captain), Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, Zack Ryder, The Great Khali and a bit of a surprise, Booker T. As for the heels, Team Laurinaitis, David Otunga will act as the captain. His team consists of Mark Henry, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger and Christian’s replacement due to injury, Drew McIntyre. Both teams have solid rosters but if I have to pick a winner, it’ll probably be Team Johnny although this match can go both ways. One of the few matches that’s hard to predict a winner. If it’s Johnny, expect a lot of power tripping. If it’s Teddy, expect a lot of heel trashing :P. Also, expect Aksana and Vickie to get involved in this fight unless they get thrown out right from the get go. We’ll see after WrestleMania 28 who’s gonna have his power boosted by assuming control of both WWE RAW and WWE SmackDown!

Here’s another undercard match that didn’t make much sense heading to WrestleMania 28. Just like the Orton-Kane duel, this one also feels like it was thrown on the wall and somehow got stuck in there. I would’ve preferred the rumored Goldust-Cody duel instead of an Intercontinental Championship match that isn’t really about the Intercontinental Championship. This feud has been based on how Cody has mocked Big Show’s unimpressive WrestleMania record. I gotta admit though, Cody has been brilliant so far in making this thing work. Big Show will always be good when it comes to showing his angry side and Rhodes has been able to manipulate Big Show’s mindset. Not bad I guess. Again though, it looks like Big Show is more concerned on proving to Cody and to the WWE Universe that he ain’t a bust on the grandest stage of them all than actually winning the Intercontinental Championship title. Looks like he’ll be winning it anyway as consolation prize payoff for the great year he had. As for Cody Rhodes, I’m guessing he’ll be primed for a World Heavyweight Championship feud against Sheamus on SummerSlam. Certainly good things ahead for the younger Rhodes despite the huge possibility of him losing the IC title at WrestleMania 28.

Will Big Show able to rise up to the occasion and win his first WrestleMania singles match? Or will Cody Rhodes successfully defend the Intercontinental Championship and continue to be the longest IC Champion in WWE history? Careers will be defined. Continued “Reverse Undertaker” for Big Show or Cody’s ascent to the main event ranks? We’ll know on April 1st. With no concrete storyline behind this feud, if you can even call it a feud, this match will rely heavily on how these 2 great wrestlers will be able to make something out of their time in the biggest stage of them all. Out of all the undercard matches, Orton vs. Kane is the most probable one that can steal the show. I personally want to see this match despite the lack of any real and believable buildup. What Kane mentioned on a recent WWE SmackDown was lame but I guess could be passable, depending on how you look at it. Either way, look for these two psychopaths to destroy each other at WrestleMania 28. A no-disqualification match could do wonders since a regular match wouldn’t give justice for the ‘destruction’ part of this fight.

A part of me still says that it should have been Kane vs. Zack Ryder for obvious reasons but somehow WWE didn’t go that route. Anyway, watch out for The Viper and The Big Red Monster to make some noise (and damage) on April 1, 2012. No April Fools joke can handle the wrath of these 2 men. This will be a flat-out war simple as that.

Let me get this out of the way. I’m not buying the “I’m tired of HBK being called a loser etc.” reason Triple H said when he finally agreed to Undertaker’s challenge. His rejection was more real than his acceptance. The business aspect of why he wasn’t biting the bait was wayyyy more believable.

Or should I just say “who cares”? Undertaker vs. HHH III is official and will be badass as always, like the Pacquiao-Marquez (re)matches.

With Triple H and Undertaker battling it out in a Hell in a Cell match, just as The Game said, both of them are going all the way. It’ll be the end of an era. Adding Shawn Michaels to the mix by being named this week as the special guest referee, things will be more definitely interesting. Can’t wait to see what kind of twists and swerves will happen not only in the weeks leading to WrestleMania 28 but to the match itself as well. At the end of the day though, Undertaker’s streak WILL NOT end. 20-0 yep. Never count  The Game out though.
