I’ll admit, I’m not the biggest fan of Theory winning MITB (Sami was my pick). I understand the need to push young WWE Superstars, it’s just that it doesn’t feel organic for Austin right now, I think? Don’t get me wrong though, Theory is the future of WWE—no question about that. Maybe my opinion will change in the coming weeks, and he proves all the doubters wrong, that he deserves the mega push Vince and co. has handed to him.
With the MITB contract in his control, it’s only a matter of time before Theory fulfills his destiny and become the new WWE Champion/Universal Champion (it’s not impossible for WWE to pursue this possibility of being able to challenge for just 1 of the titles to keep other championship on Roman Reigns). Becoming Undisputed WWE Universal Champion is absolutely possible too.
Little known fact about me is that I absolutely got addicted to collecting NBA trading cards during my high school years. Looking for some design inspirations this past weekend, I stumbled upon a local mall (Greenhills PH) and saw how NBA cards are still being collected and fetching resell prices. Tempted to buy and justify the purchase as part of my “research”, or just finding new ways to rejuvenate my interest in designing wrestling graphics in general, I controlled myself and just decided to try designing a digital wrestling card once I get home. I know 2022 Panini Prizm WWE trading cards series is out, might try buying that one if I have spare money at some point.
Also armed with the recent MITB events, I came up with making a Liv Morgan Defining Moments design as my first stab at making a digital card. It perfectly suits the biggest night of Liv’s wrestling career in WWE. To Liv Morgan, congratulations on reaching such a huge milestone!
Six WWE Superstars will wage war against each other on June 19 for the right to get this year’s Money in the Bank briefcase. Dean Ambrose, Alberto Del Rio, Sami Zayn, Chris Jericho, Cesaro and Kevin Owens (which I’m picking to win) will do anything just to have the opportunity to cash in anytime until next year and become the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. You can make a legit case for each of these competitors so it’s really tough to predict who’s gonna win it this time around and that’s a very good thing. Will WWE finally put the main event push on Cesaro’s shoulders? Or should they go with someone like Alberto Del Rio who’s going to be booed either way against Roman Reigns? Or will this be an underdog story of the year for Sami Zayn? We’re going to find out soon.

After a 2-week hiatus, Kupy Wrestling Wallpapers is back with this effort-busting wallpaper featuring the Money in the Bank match for a WWE Championship contract, or better known this year as MITB All-Stars. CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Kane, Christian and the returning Rob Van Dam are the included participants. I think Chris Jericho should’ve been included too (sorry Ryback). With the match named MITB All-Stars, it should be exciting and spectacular, especially since RVD and Daniel Bryan are in there. As for the winner, it’s pretty obvious that Bryan is gonna win. He’s on a hot streak right now and anything other than a Daniel Bryan win would be a letdown. CM Punk is headed for a Brock Lesnar encounter. Orton could be a wild pick though. As for Sheamus, Kane, RVD and Christian, I just don’t see them winning the briefcase this year.
So, who do you guys think will get the MITB WWE Championship contract? Whatever the outcome is, it’ll be an awesome match for sure!

Right from the start of the main event, the crowd was electric for this one. CM Punk, the hometown hero, had the crowd on his hand. Make no mistake about it, the atmosphere wasn’t just because it was a Chicago homecoming for Punk, but because he got everyone’s attention ever since he cut that shoot promo on RAW 3 weeks ago. People were excited to see what will happen on his title match against John Cena and what do you know, both competitors delivered possibly the match of the year. This wasn’t a WrestleMania match but it was probably heaps better than the whole WrestleMania 27 event. It reminded me and most of the older fans how the Attitude era constantly produced these kind of electricity and matches (well, maybe not so much on the matches) weekly and on PPVs. I think we can all thank CM Punk for that. He brought fire to my/our idle passion for wrestling again.
Now that he has become WWE Champion, I think we can safely say that he has been resigned by WWE..but he will still take that much needed vacation. When he comes back, we all know he will be ready to rock the house again, and most likely, for the long haul.
And still be the best in the world.
