Sheamus is the 2012 WWE Royal Rumble Winner and has earned the right to face either the WWE Champion CM Punk or the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 28 in Miami. It has been one heck of a ride for The Great White these past couple of months. After turning face, he was able to break his losing slump and found a renewed strength to work his way to the main event ranks again. He feuded with the likes of Mark Henry, Jinder Mahal, Christian and came out looking a lot better and sharper in the ring as months go by, especially leading to the WWE Royal Rumble event. The man is on a mission to win the championship again and he may very well do so in WrestleMania 28. As for the opponent he’ll be choosing, it’s pretty obvious that he’ll go for Daniel Bryan’s World Heavyweight Championship but you’ll never know he might pull a swerve and challenge CM Punk instead.

Will we see Sheamus regain his spot on the top of the WWE ladder again on WrestleMania 28? We’ll find that out a few months from now. At first, I didn’t know how to react. When Brodus Clay made his 2012 debut in the WWE, he came out dancing with two gorgeous chicks and yeah, to Ernest “The Cat” Miller’s former entrance theme called “Somebody Call My Momma”! The whole WWE Universe was stunned, including myself. He was right, we all didn’t see this coming. I think this gimmick will be great for Clay. The Funkasaurus showed lots of personality that we thought he didn’t have at all. He can be successful with this persona as long as he does something new every now and then or else the act will grow old quickly. So far so good Brodus!

He’s the youngest WWE Superstar to be inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame, Edge! The man has done it all AND won it all. Multiple-time Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion, US Champion, King of the Ring, Royal Rumble Winner, Slammy Awardee, Money in the Bank Winner, 7x World Heavyweight Champion and most importantly, 4x WWE Champion. If that line doesn’t warrant you a quick trip to the WWE HOF then I something’s terribly wrong. Edge deserves to be inducted THIS YEAR and I applaud WWE for realizing that right away. That’s probably one of the best careers a wrestler can dream of. Adam Copeland, popularly known as Edge, got to live the life he dreamed of.

“Break the Walls Down!” Marked out big time on that one! Chris Jericho is now finally back on WWE TV and ready to kick ass ‘aga-yn’! We were waiting for him to lay out his explanations regarding the viral videos that have been aired for the past few weeks, whom the children represent, why they were saying this and that, and so much more. Instead, we got a very weird response from Y2J – the silent treatment. Presentation-wise, it was weird seeing Jericho smiling widely and supposedlu having GENUINE fun with the crowd so it was quite hard to watch knowing that it’s not his personality.  Writing-wise, this was a pure stroke of GENIUS. What better way to keep the fans guessing about Chris’ new agenda in the WWE other than shutting his mouth? Nothing! I applaud the creative for having the guts to pull this off. Casual fans didn’t appreciate the return and immediately judged this as a failure. Not for me (and to smart fans out there). I’m not that smart but I can SMELL the heel turn from a mile away. It might not happen right away but rest assure Chris Jericho is gonna be a villain and will most likely feud with CM Punk for the WWE Title OR the Best in the World monicker. Can you see what Y2J’s doing? My hunch is he’s out there to prove CM Punk wrong in every aspect. From being voiceless (no pipebombs = power like Punk?) to being the best in the world at what he does. Or maybe save us from the abominable WWE programming lately? Whatever the storyline will be, Chris Jericho is back to make WWE RAW special again!

Lots of rumors as to who shall be the one (or two) making a WWE comeback are running rampant right now. My bet is Y2J. For me, the Prophetless and Do You Understand quotes in the last 2 videos were the best hints WWE could give away. Punk calls himself a prophet and Y2J is clearly gunning for him especially when Punk declared himself the Best in the World. Then again, it could be a swerve. I like the mystery.

Actually, I’m good with any of the guys in this design I posted. Brock Lesnar? There’s always a lil’ chance. The McMahons? Control. Force. The Undertaker? I don’t need to explain. Could be Matt Hardy and Lita too. Or the debut Brodus Clay – I HOPE NOT.

We’ll finally see tomorrow who shall it be.

It’s a brand new year for everyone of us..meaning it’ll also be a brand new start for a lot of WWE Superstars, aiming to improve their game and reach greener pastures. Drew McIntyre is no exception. If you watched SmackDown this past Friday, you saw how Teddy Long signed Drew McIntyre back to his show. Drew will need to perform better and get some wins or he will get cut from the roster. Eventually, he lost his return match against Ezekiel Jackson. Teddy didn’t fire Drew right away after that so it probably means we’ll be seeing Drew weekly hereon to continue this storyline. That’s good. I can easily see him losing another match or two then finally finding his way back to the win column by either becoming a face or getting his vicious groove back against a top Smackdown babyface (Sheamus for instance). It can mean only good things to come for the once called “Chosen One”. Now as the Desperate One, as Michael Cole called him this week, Drew McIntyre is finally back on TV and gets a promising push this 2012. He got buried so deep on RAW the fans CHEERED him during his entrance last Friday. Fans certainly know when a good talent gets wasted. I’m glad to see him get that reaction even though I can’t stand his act when he was pushed big time during the early part of his Chosen One gimmick. However, the way he got buried (rumors has it that it was because of former WWE Diva Tiffany, his wife) for the past year or so was just pure injustice. Yeah he became a Tag Team Champion (w/ Cody Rhodes) but it was easily forgettable. He would have done wonders on the midcard scene..a bigger posibility now here in 2012.
