Congratulations to the NEW Ring Of Honor World Champion, Claudio Castagnoli (formerly Cesaro in WWE)! Blackpool Combat Club now has 3 championships, with Wheeler Yuta as ROH Pure Champion, and Jon Moxley as interim AEW World Champion. Bryan Danielson is coming back soon, let’s see what championship he goes after.
Cesaro just won his first-ever WrestleMania singles match, after 7 long years–quite absurd for a talented wrestler such as the Swiss Cyborg. It was long overdue, and who better than Rollins to make Cesaro look real good. You gotta give The Architect some credit too (and Daniel Bryan as well!). These two men pulled out new tricks in their bag of tricks, with Rollins’ doing a friggin’ corkscrew frog splash and Cesaro spinning with Rollins on his shoulder while avoiding using his hands most of the time. Those moves were insane!!
We all saw the pure, raw emotion from Cesaro after the three count. It’s not a secret that the man is well-loved by the fans and his co-workers, so you can just imagine how everyone felt when he finally notched that singles win. Now let’s see where does this take him.

I know, I know. It’s been a month since I made a wallpaper and yes, I apologize for that. Work and some personal errands have taken the brunt of this month, not to mention the lack of match confirmations for WrestleMania 33. 2 weeks before the event and yet we still don’t know if Seth and HHH are going to have a match or if the SmackDown Tag Titles will be defended at all (congratulations btw to The Usos for winning the titles last Tuesday). Well, I decided to proceed anyway and finish this WrestleMania 33 wallpaper today. Is Braun Strowman even gonna compete? I just assumed he’ll be entering the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Btw guys, we’ll be having a short vacation in Japan on 1st week of April so I’ll be out again for a while. I’m not even sure if I’ll be able to catch WrestleMania there haha. Hope you guys like this WrestleMania 33 wallpaper.
In just a few hours, WWE will be holding an event here in Manila and we Pinoy fans are excited as f*ck! It has almost been a decade since WWE last came here. We’re definitely due for some kickass show!

Sadly though, that possibility looks bleak now after losing a local contest that will give an opportunity for a couple of fans to meet the WWE Superstars in person. Lucky peeps they are!

Six WWE Superstars will wage war against each other on June 19 for the right to get this year’s Money in the Bank briefcase. Dean Ambrose, Alberto Del Rio, Sami Zayn, Chris Jericho, Cesaro and Kevin Owens (which I’m picking to win) will do anything just to have the opportunity to cash in anytime until next year and become the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. You can make a legit case for each of these competitors so it’s really tough to predict who’s gonna win it this time around and that’s a very good thing. Will WWE finally put the main event push on Cesaro’s shoulders? Or should they go with someone like Alberto Del Rio who’s going to be booed either way against Roman Reigns? Or will this be an underdog story of the year for Sami Zayn? We’re going to find out soon.

The guy who almost got buried in the WWE storylines is now slowly and steadily making a name for himself. We all know what Antonio Cesaro is capable of doing. Athleticism, brute strength, technical wrestling skills and good mic skills..he had them all. Heck, he was even paired with Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger to form the Real Americans and yet they were jobbing on a nightly basis. He was going nowhere until he hit that move that’s so unique and made it popular – the Cesaro swing. Now, Antonio has everyone’s attention now, from the WWE Universe to the WWE creative. Even John Cena praised him in a recent live event and called him a future World Champion. I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens as early as next year.

As we look back on the memorable WWE moments of 2012, let’s be thankful of the wrestling goodness we got this year. From Daniel Bryan’s rise to stardom to CM Punk’s 400+ days of WWE Title reign, 2012 was totally spectacular, regardless of some disappointments (John Cena as WWE Superstar of the Year, RAW going 3 hours, etc). We’ll always get those. Good thing we’re headed to a very promising 2013, with Rock coming back (again), Ziggler breaking the ceiling anytime soon, young prospects (The Shield, Big E Langston) being groomed well and the likes of CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Ryback getting ready to take up the reins off Cena, soon.
We close this epic year of 2012 with the current title holders in the WWE. Most of these champions are the future of WWE. Punk and Bryan were both revelations that started last year. Kofi is one heel turn away from getting out of the midcard.Wade Barrett made a last-day attempt to win the Intercontinental Championship from Kofi Kingston..and he did just that. Be ready for the Barrett Barrage this 2013. Antonio Cesaro, what can I say? Probably one of the fastest rising WWE Superstars today. Divas Champion Eve is currently dominating the very weak Divas division (until new blood comes in for help). Team Hell No will own the tag team division until they finally go their separate ways, with Bryan hopefully challenging for the WWE/World Heavyweight Championship. Lastly, as an added bonus, Dolph Ziggler. The hottest commodity on the planet right now. I’m predicting he’ll be the Superstar of the Year in 2013, though Ryback/Punk may have something to say about that.

Videogame AND wrestling fans, October 30 (US) is just 2 days away! You know what I mean..WWE ’13! This year’s rendition will feature more WWE Superstars by adding the most popular wrestlers during the Attitude Era such as Stone Cold, The Rock, Val Venis, The Godfather, Ken Shamrock, APA and so many more! The WWE PG roster has been updated of course and we’ll see the likes of CM Punk, The Rock 2011, Damien Sandow, Masked Kane 2011, Antonio Cesaro and Big Hungry himself, Ryback! No reason NOT to get excited about that! Of course, WWE ’13 will feature enhancements on their game engine named Predator Technology 2.0. Season modes include Universe and Attitude. We’ll also get Eddie Guerrero and the Doctor of Thuganomics version of John Cena (that’s a personal favorite). And AJ Lee. Ahh can’t wait!
