Finally conquering not only Finn Balor but the whole NXT promotion itself, Samoa Joe is now the NXT Champion. Destroying everyone in his path on the way to the top, he’s almost like NXT’s Brock Lesnar. He had an aura of invincibility these past few months. He was feared. Samoa Joe rekindled that beast in him. He went to hell, defeated the demon and walked out of hell’s door with the most prestigious title outside WWE’s main roster. We’ll see what WWE/NXT does to his reign of terror. A lengthy title reign will almost certainly propel him to heights he had never seen before.

Now that Finn Balor is most likely moving up to the main roster, the likes of Austin Aries and of course, Shinsuke Nakamura will be gunning for that NXT Championship. Maybe throw Booby Roode in there too if he signs full-time. There won’t be any shortage of challengers for the Samoan Submission Machine. The Destroyer (like the title of his entrance theme) will be waiting to prey on them.

How you doin’?

Enzo & Cass are probably at par with the New Day in terms of entertainment delivery. This duo is brash and nasty. You have Enzo as the trashtalker and Cass as the fearsome big man. They totally complement each other and they’re about to wreak havoc in the tag team division. It’s a breath of fresh air for RAW and SmackDown especially now that the tag team division is heating up again with the arrival of this awesome team, together with the Vaudevillains and of course, the team of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows (or Bullet/Balor Club).

Even though these two are one hell of an entertaining team, they still have ways to go in terms of delivering 5-star matches. They’re not the most technical guys out there though what they lack in wrestling skills, they deliver 200% in terms of charisma and fan participation. It would’ve also been better if Carmella was brought up with them. She’s a total hot chick! Maybe she’ll be there when it’s time to freshen things up with this team. Btw, can you see the similarity between Enzo Amore and John Cena’s Doctor of Thuganomics persona, in terms of cutting promos? How about Cass & Edge? Or Enzo & Robert Downey Jr.? Haha.

You know this guy is pretty special/awesome when his debut performance at NXT TakeOver: Dallas is already in the match of the year conversation. That’s what Shinsuke Nakamura was in his first ever NXT match against Sami Zayn. IT WAS AWESOME. That was the first time I’ve seen him wrestle and I gotta admit he really oozes with lots of charisma and excitement. From his badass videogame-boss-like entrance theme to his rope pose to his strikes, you won’t have any reason to hate Nakamura. I can’t wait to watch his future matches in NXT.

With Asuka and Hideo Itami already on board, possibly Kota Ibushi too, NXT is slowly turning into a ‘playground’ for these Japanese crew. Maybe add Funaki as manager and you have yourselves a possible AND DANGEROUS Jap stable, led of course by the King of Strong Style. At some point, you really have to consider that possibility.
