Since returning from injury, Cena has shown that he can still go in the ring despite a little bit of ring rust. His endurance and intensity are still top-notch though, as seen in his MITB match against the Phenomenal One AJ Styles. Granted I wasn’t a fan of him dismantling Karl Anderson last week, John is still in elite form especially when he’s not cracking jokes and just brings it, even if it means ‘burying’ his opponent.

One thing you can’t hate about the man though is his love and respect for his country and for the people who defend it. WWE just made the Lunatic Fringe become the Lunatic Champion! I still can’t believe what happened especially Seth Rollins getting a clean pin on Roman Reigns and then Dean Ambrose immediately cashing in his newly-won MITB contract on The Architect. I thought someone’s gonna interfere and prevent the match from starting but alas, the 2016 MITB winner is now the WWE World Heavyweight Champion just a few minutes later. It was shocking to say the least but it was perfectly done considering we’re talking about Dean Ambrose here who portrays an unpredictable character. Fans are already calling it: former Shield members will be fighting for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the main event of SummerSlam. Regardless of what happens on BattleGround (the PPV before SummerSlam), we’re in treat for a classic triple threat match this summer.

Six WWE Superstars will wage war against each other on June 19 for the right to get this year’s Money in the Bank briefcase. Dean Ambrose, Alberto Del Rio, Sami Zayn, Chris Jericho, Cesaro and Kevin Owens (which I’m picking to win) will do anything just to have the opportunity to cash in anytime until next year and become the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. You can make a legit case for each of these competitors so it’s really tough to predict who’s gonna win it this time around and that’s a very good thing. Will WWE finally put the main event push on Cesaro’s shoulders? Or should they go with someone like Alberto Del Rio who’s going to be booed either way against Roman Reigns? Or will this be an underdog story of the year for Sami Zayn? We’re going to find out soon.
