The first WWE wallpaper of 2016 here at Kupy Wrestling Wallpapers is none other than the 2016 Royal Rumble wallpaper! I know I know it’s a bit late since the event will commence in just a few hours so I’m sorry about that. At least I was able to make the deadline 😛

Roman Reigns entering at no. 1 didn’t surprise any. A lot of people would be surprised though if he doesn’t win the Rumble since it looks like the WWE World Heavyweight Championship defense stipulation was made to make him look very strong heading into WrestleMania 32. With the Triple H feud looming in the background though, there’s a realistic chance that Roman’s loses the title to The Game himself and will result to a championship match at WrestleMania. I do hope that this isn’t the route WWE will go for. We need that BIG surprise. A new champ perhaps in the form of Kevin Owens? Or the sure star power bet Brock Lesnar? Daniel Bryan? What about AJ Styles winning the championship in his first day at work? There are tons of possibilities WWE can explore so that they can garner intrigue and interest on their way to WrestleMania season.

Or we can just sit back and enjoy the show later. Good times ahead!

Back after skipping 2014, Kupy Wrestling Wallpapers brings back the 2015 Year-End Champions wallpaper! And this time around, the NXT champions are included! Worked on this the whole day, even missing the New Year midnight celebration so it’s a bit late but again, better than nothing :))

Finn Balor as NXT Champion, Bayley as NXT Women’s Champion and Dash and Dawson as NXT Tag Team Champions represent the NXT brand. The Beast, Brock Lesnar, may have brought hell to New Day in Japan but more importantly, the Demon Prince Finn Balor returned to the Land of the Rising Sun and captured the NXT Championship from the brash and very tough competitor Kevin Owens! As the announcers said, it was a fairytale comeback for the one formerly known as Prince Devitt. It was an awesome back and forth match, with Owens legitimately looking like he’ll retain his championship against the very game Balor. In the end though, after a shift in momentum and series of quick attacks, Finn pinned the champion for the 1, 2, 3 and cemented himself an international star and champion. This one will be etched in his soul for the rest of his life. Congratulations Finn Balor! You deserve that prestigious NXT Championship!

By now I’m pretty sure most of the WWE Universe have seen the latest and probably the best NXT TakeOver to ever happen: NXT REvolution. It was a total showcase of WWE’s future headliners both in the male and female divisions. Almost every match that night was a show-stealer. The debut (and quick heel turn in the end) of Kevin Owens, the epic entrance of Finn Balor, the superb NXT Women’s championship match between Charlotte and Sasha Banks, the likes of Kalisto and Ideo Hitami flying in the air and of course, the NXT Championship match between Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn that brought the house down with excellent match booking and storytelling. I’ve never watched NXT multiple times until this show. It was that AWESOME!

Starting the year right is this newest and first 2015 WWE wallpaper of the NXT Superstars. Instead of making a year-end WWE champions, I decided to shift the focus entirely to WWE’s development of future main eventers. These young guns are primed to bring NXT to newer heights. Watch out 2015, their evolution is now.
