Liv Morgan’s Dom Dom finally got some singles gold in his waist! He also did so at the expense of his Judgment Day buddy Finn Balor, Penta and Bron Breakker at the same time in a WrestleMania 41 fatal four-way. Just like that, Dominik Mysterio is the new Intercontinental Champion. What’s also surprising about this match was Dirty Dom being cheered and supported by the WWE Universe in attendance. This looks like the start of a turnaround for Dominik, a face turn he probably doesn’t want to have lol. Even his dad Rey Mysterio is becoming a fan of his son’s work, and rightfully so. Of course, PAPI Eddie Guerrero is up there in heaven just as proud! No disrespect to Rey, Dominik is more like Eddie at this point—and fans can see that.
One way to avoid the face turn is of course to strike first and kick Finn Balor out of the Judgment Day stable. That should put Dominik Mysterio in a level where he continuously ascends the heel tier as he has done in the past like when he betrayed MAMI Rhea Ripley for Liv Morgan (already a heel with a heel act lol). Dom Dom just gets the business. He’ll be a big name for WWE in the decades to come. For now, let’s see what he can do as Intercontinental Champion.

Jey’s ascent to the top has been filled with critics, left and right. They say he’s not main event or world champion material. That he spams superkicks and has a limited moveset. Well, at the end of the day, this is a business, and business is BIG when Jey Uso is around. No one should be able to deny that. The reaction of the WWE Universe during live shows is the perfect barometer of his influence and audience impact. The man puts butts to seats. A lot of wrestlers can only dream of having the same crowd reaction he gets. Jey’s also generally likeable too, so I really don’t get the hate. Entertainment, guys. Let the man run with the ball and see how well he does with it.
The way Jey Uso won at WrestleMania 41 added fuel to that hate fire, as Gunther tapped out to his own submission move. To be honest, I was surprised too. But I’m sure, HHH has plans for the Ring General. We probably saw that start when Gunther legit choked out Pat McAfee in this week’s Monday Night Raw. This might be the start of an unhinged Gunther, a version where he unleashes his fury to all those who are on Jey’s side. Actually, he started way back with Jimmy Uso. Jey better be ready for that rematch.

Gone are the bright lights and the upbeat emotions—it was all pure disdain for the fans and Cody Rhodes. John Cena entered the ring not looking to entertain and celebrate his last WrestleMania with the WWE Universe. Instead, he ‘marched’ his way to a dark and minimalist black arena, no spotlights nor fireworks whatsoever. It was quite a sharp contrast to how John Cena presented himself in years past on the grandest stage of them all. The version of John Cena we saw at WrestleMania 41 was willing to win at any cost… and win he did.
He made good on his promise of dethroning Cody Rhodes, even if it was in controversial fashion. Wasn’t a fan of how anticlimactic the ending was, and Travis Scott being heavily involved in there didn’t feel right to me. Where’s the Final Boss? Why isn’t The Rock in all of these, or maybe even just a few minutes of this match? Regardless of how the fight was booked, John Cena has now surpassed Ric Flair, and deservedly so. All the years of work Cena have put in for WWE, he’s truly now the GOAT!

Jacob Fatu is on a tear ever since joining the roster, so it’ll be surely a tough matchup for LA Knight. With fans slowly getting behind the Samoan Werewolf, it looks like LA Knight could be in a disadvantage, but don’t count out the Megastar just yet. I want LA to win, but HHH and co. is building up Jacob to be an unstoppable force. And Fatu won’t be stopped on this night. I think he’s winning the US Title.

Personal is an understatement in this bitter feud. Tiffany Stratton referring to Charlotte’s unfortunate “0-3” in marriage terms in a recent promo battle, it quickly became awkward. Even Ludwig Kaiser got mentioned here by Charlotte, when she tried to make a comeback. Whether it was planned, or if Tiffany and Charlotte took matters on their own, this championship match is now more than what it should be. Egos and personal matters are now involved, and whoever wins not only takes the title, but the pride of the other as well.

A few weeks ago, there wasn’t much sense to do a triple threat between CM Punk, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, since there wasn’t anything on the line. Now, even though unofficial, whoever wins this match will most likely end up with Paul Heyman’s services. Some are predicting Paul turning on both Roman and Punk to align with Seth. Personally, I don’t like it, but I’m not ruling it out completely.
Roman Reigns is showing signs of slowly reverting back to his mean version of the Tribal Chief. Being ‘betrayed’ yet again, he’s feels like he shouldn’t trust anyone outside of his bloodline anymore. Without his Wiseman, the OTC is alone in his Island of Relevancy going into this match.
CM Punk is marching into this matchup with Paul Heyman—as a hesitant bestfriend. Surely, the favor will be returned, but not in a way Paul would like to because it resulted to a fractured relationship with Roman. Punk probably doesn’t care about that though, as long as his best friend in the world is in his side for this night. And that’s where the issue comes in. Paul Heyman is trapped between this emotionally tiring conflict..that’s why the Rollins alliance angle is possible.
Whoever wins in this match, this triple threat surely needs to end in controversial fashion to keep fans talking going into night 2, and keep the momentum going storyline-wise.

In the midst of this chaotic three-way feud is the possibility of a potential WrestleMania 41 show-stealer. Yes, despite the unconventional build, Iyo Sky defending her World Championship against both Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair is definitely a must-watch in the show. Being portrayed as an afterthought and an underdog champion, Iyo Sky needs to bring something she hasn’t done before and pull all the stops to retain her title against the two powerhouses. As for Bianca, her role in the Naomi/Jade Cargill feud might play into this match somehow. Or maybe not. It’ll be interesting to see if she’ll be able to make good with her Elimination Chamber win and defeat Iyo and Rhea for the title. Rhea Ripley will bring her usual brand of ‘nasty’ and power her way to victory in this triple threat.
It’s quite hard to predict the outcome of this match, but what I want to see is Bianca Belair to turn heel, regardless if she’s winning the World Heavyweight Championship or not. The women’s division is in dire need of a heel main eventer—Bianca fits that bill, easily. If becoming the champion helps that cause, please make it happen, Hunter.

WHO LOVES BIANCA BELAIR MORE?! 😅
Naomi took advantage of this angle into a career-changing heel turn, which I personally think has lots of potential if given a proper push. Her “proceed with caution” look and gimmick is on the unhinged side, and likely resonates to a lot of fans who have been supporting her through the years. As Wade Barrett said: “The nice girl is gone. 2025’s Naomi is highly volatile”. Plus, she looks edgied, and sexier I should say haha.
Jade Cargill is seeking revenge for Naomi’s betrayal last year. But, could it be that there might be a twist here somewhere? It feels weird that Bianca Belair just ghosted her part in this feud. I understand she has a Women’s World Championship in her hands right now, but that doesn’t mean she can’t pull double duty. If the Women’s World Championship match is slated for WrestleMania 41 Night 1, and this particular feud in Night 2, I sense Bianca getting involved here, and potentially turning heel as well. It doesn’t make sense for Jade Cargill to lose in this match, but if a heel Bianca gets involved, then Naomi winning isn’t far off. It’ll be interesting to see what happens to this story moving forward.

The viciousness of Gunther’s post-match attack on Jimmy Uso has ignited the fire that not only Jey Uso needed, but frankly, the feud has been missing. It has become absolutely personal now. Yes, Big Jim was kind of a sacrificial lamb here, but hey—it worked. 100%.
“Crashout” Jey came out last night with a different mindset, and he openly threatened Gunther..which I think Gunther personally loved as this feud is now taken up to another level. The story is now set. Jey Uso has all the motivation in the world now to stop doubting himself, and pull all the stops to dethrone the mighty champion, Gunther.
The YEET-ing will always be there, but for now, Jey has set that aside to achieve the inevitable: becoming the NEW World Heavyweight Champion. After WrestleMania 41, Jey and the WWE Universe will YEET all over the place! 😅
