Aside from the recent Rey Mysterio Meet and Greet, there are other things I’m currently prioritizing over making wallpapers thus the lack of updates. Will make up for that I promise.

HHH vs. Brock Lesnar. WWE SummerSlam 2012. I think this will end the PPV since Punk is working on that “lack of respect” angle of his. As for this match main-eventing the show, I don’t mind actually. It won’t be a wrestling clinic that’s for sure since this will be an ugly encounter between two of the biggest names in WWE history. Expect this match to be brutal, with some interference from both Stephanie and Heyman. In the end though, I think Brock will snatch this one. He needs to get his heat back which was taken away in his losing effort against John Cena. That would make him relevant despite the lack of appearances. Trips will be fine even if he loses this match.

What’s the most intriguing and compelling WWE storyline of the year so far? No it’s not Big Show’s “I should be a giant” crap..

Yes..yes yes yes it’s the CM Punk-AJ-Daniel Bryan saga, with AJ grabbing the opportunity to make a name for herself. Some say CM Punk as WWE Champion is being overshadowed by this. If you look at it that way, it does have a point..but with this angle being SOOO exciting to watch, I bet Punk doesn’t mind. This has propelled their trio to end RAW two straight weeks now and effectively kept John Cena from hogging majority of the closing segments of RAW each week. AJ has done a masterful job of portraying a crazed character, even showing a range of different emotions and actions (smiles but then slaps the crap out of you) but still trying to maintain some sort of sanity as she tries to get everyone’s attention, especially Punk and D-Bry. Even JR has taken notice and gave praise of her act. She has added intrigue and suspense to the WWE Championship match at Money in the Bank by being named the special guest referee. Will she be partial? I doubt it. Will she scrap the tweener tag, turn heel and side with Daniel Bryan, making him the new WWE Champion? Or will she finally extract revenge on her former boyfriend and keep the belt on Punk? Let’s find out in a few hours.

AJ has truly captured our hearts, especially men haha. With tons of male fans on her side, her appeal and spot on WWE’s main storylines has already been solidified. AJ = Respect! One-month hiatus eh? Unforgivable. With the NBA Playoffs/Finals and stress-heavy workload on my plate last June, I was pretty occupied so I want to apologize to everyone if I wasn’t able to make any significant updates. Speaking of updates, I think I need to redesign the site. Anyway..

AJ and Daniel Bryan (finally being truly over with the fans that is) were obviously the breakout stars for the first half of this year. As for the 2nd half of 2012? I’m seeing Dolph Ziggler in my radar. After getting lost in the main event mix twice already, being relegated to low card, tag-team hell with Jack Swagger and jobbing to the likes of Brodus Clay, he is finally getting some serious push from WWE management. Smart fans have gotten behind this guy by cheering for him as we’ve seen these past few WWE RAWs. Also, have you noticed the face turn tease? If they’re going with that route, then it would be awesome. This is just a hunch but I think he’ll do better as a face than as a heel. YES YES YES you heard me right. Imagine Vickie turning on him (NOT turning him on haha) after losing another WWE/World Heavyweight championship match and then the next night on RAW he gives her new man or her a Zig Zag (okay that’s not PG). For sure the WWE Universe will explode for that! Right now he’s still losing his championship matches..believe it or not, that’s the way to build him up more. Just keep it slow for the Zig Zag man. Make the fans back him or his title quest up. He’s slowly but SURELY getting legit main event status.

HERE COMES THE PAIN!

Brock Lesnar has done nothing but wreak havoc to John Cena’s life these past two weeks. What better way to make a huge return than by quickly targeting the face of the WWE (CM Punk ain’t there yet). Hey, Cena started to make a name for himself by challenging Brock during their Smackdown days. It seems like Brock is doing the same thing now.

Even though he’s back, reports say he’ll have limited dates so don’t expect him to show up every week. At least we’ll be seeing him more often than The Rock so I really can’t complain about that. Brock needs to bring some life again into WWE since it’s beginning to get stale again (understandably so especially after WrestleMania). Lesnar must prove that he can still dominate in the ring just like the old days. Lots of challengers will be gunning for him – imagine huge matchups against the likes of Sheamus, CM Punk, Orton and so on. Heck, even Miz can use a huge face turn against this monster. Can’t wait what lies ahead for the former WWE Champion, even if it’s only for a year (for now).

The self-proclaimed War Machine (Rhyno/Rhino?) will face John Cena at this years Extreme Rules. It’s almost certain that he’ll get the W. On a personal note, I feel bad for Cena. If they’re sticking him to the face route then I don’t understand why they’re feeding him to Lesnar this early. The guy just lost to The Rock. Oh well.

The way Daniel Bryan lost his World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania was a huge travesty. Yeah, it was obvious that Sheamus will be walking out as champ..but in 18 seconds? NO! NO! NO! Just like that, Bryan’s title reign ended in a dud. I may not be a fan of his championship run, but no man deserves to lose like that in WrestleMania, especially when that wrestler is the World Heavyweight Champion and defending his title on the biggest PPV of the year. WWE did this to break some shitty record they had before? BS!

Even Daniel Bryan admitted on a this week’s RAW (after the dark match main event) that it was the worst night of his wrestling career. However, the YES! YES! YES! chants probably gave him solace as he acknowledged and thanked the Miami crowd afterwards. And he was right, WWE has made a quick YES shirt for him. This is something he can build on hopefully on regaining his way to the top, be it on SmackDown or RAW (if he gets drafted). Even though his title reign was lame, his heel run has done wonders for his career. A big part of that was because of his overcelebration of his entrance and wins, shouting “World Heavyweight Champion” and “YES!” over and over again. Will we see him regain the title again from Sheamus? I say YES! YES! YES!

CM Punk and Chris Jericho, as expected, had the best technical wrestling match at WrestleMania 28. These 2 definitely wanted to steal the show though HHH-Undertaker is up there as well. Punk and Y2J told a great story, especially at the start of the match, with Punk trying to contain his anger so he won’t get disqualified (he’ll lose the title that way) and Jericho egging him on to do it. Both competitors brought their A game and they didn’t disappoint. With Jericho tapping to the Anaconda Vice, CM Punk proved to everyone that he truly is the Best In The World now.

WrestleMania 28, Once In A Lifetime, The Rock has conquered John Cena on one of the most anticipated battles/main events in WWE history. What’s next for The Rock? A challenge from Brock as rumors say maybe started as soon as this Monday night’s RAW. Film movies right away? And what’s next for Cena? How will he take this loss? Will he still rise above hate or finally embrace it? So much questions needed to be addressed. Hopefully some of these get answered soon.

After facing and beating probably his toughest opponent yet, The Rock finally solidifies himself again as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, by claiming WrestleMania victories over the likes of Austin, Hogan and now, Cena. He’s not passing the torch just yet. Cena may have to do something drastic to snatch that torch from The People’s Champion.

Congratulations again Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson! Make no mistake about it, both men deserved to win..but on this event, it was Rocky’s day.
