With no concrete storyline behind this feud, if you can even call it a feud, this match will rely heavily on how these 2 great wrestlers will be able to make something out of their time in the biggest stage of them all. Out of all the undercard matches, Orton vs. Kane is the most probable one that can steal the show. I personally want to see this match despite the lack of any real and believable buildup. What Kane mentioned on a recent WWE SmackDown was lame but I guess could be passable, depending on how you look at it. Either way, look for these two psychopaths to destroy each other at WrestleMania 28. A no-disqualification match could do wonders since a regular match wouldn’t give justice for the ‘destruction’ part of this fight.

A part of me still says that it should have been Kane vs. Zack Ryder for obvious reasons but somehow WWE didn’t go that route. Anyway, watch out for The Viper and The Big Red Monster to make some noise (and damage) on April 1, 2012. No April Fools joke can handle the wrath of these 2 men. This will be a flat-out war simple as that.

Let me get this out of the way. I’m not buying the “I’m tired of HBK being called a loser etc.” reason Triple H said when he finally agreed to Undertaker’s challenge. His rejection was more real than his acceptance. The business aspect of why he wasn’t biting the bait was wayyyy more believable.

Or should I just say “who cares”? Undertaker vs. HHH III is official and will be badass as always, like the Pacquiao-Marquez (re)matches.

With Triple H and Undertaker battling it out in a Hell in a Cell match, just as The Game said, both of them are going all the way. It’ll be the end of an era. Adding Shawn Michaels to the mix by being named this week as the special guest referee, things will be more definitely interesting. Can’t wait to see what kind of twists and swerves will happen not only in the weeks leading to WrestleMania 28 but to the match itself as well. At the end of the day though, Undertaker’s streak WILL NOT end. 20-0 yep. Never count  The Game out though.

After trolling the WWE Universe, Y2J has revealed his true mission. He came back to reclaim what he thinks is truly his and that’s being the best in the world. We all know CM Punk has been telling everyone that he’s the best since last year. Time and time again since Money in the Bank 2011, he has proven that he really is the best right now. With Chris Jericho making his intentions clear, how will CM Punk respond to this challenge? WrestleMania 28 will be their battle ground and whoever wins that match will have the bragging rights to say he’s the best in the world AND the prestigious WWE Championship. This is going to be the purest wrestling match in this year’s WrestleMania. With John Cena and The Rock already main-eventing WrestleMania 28, this match won’t end the show so the best Y2J and Punk can do on that day is totally steal the show. A tough one to do especially if you have Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship and Triple H vs. The Undertaker in a HIAC match. With these 2 future WWE Hall of Famers though, it won’t be impossible. As alway, I’m sorry for the long hiatus. Sometimes you just need to recharge your batteries so you can drive full speed again. Besides, it’s WrestleMania season already so cutting to the chase is the latest wallpaper featuring the main event at WrestleMania 28, the very much-awaited battle between two different generations, The Rock versus John Cena! With Cena, finally overcoming Kane’s influence, the leader of Cenation has gained momentum towards the biggest match of his life against the Great One, The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson. As for the winner of this match, this one’s hard to predict. If I have to choose, I say Rock with Cena turning heel right after the match. That would be the era-changer a lot of us have been waiting for years now. Hope it does happen. Either way, the WWE Universe are the real winners here. This is probably the biggest match in WWE history and we’re about to witness something incredible 6 weeks from now. It’s going to be a heck of match for sure. Enjoy the ride guys!

At first, I didn’t know how to react. When Brodus Clay made his 2012 debut in the WWE, he came out dancing with two gorgeous chicks and yeah, to Ernest “The Cat” Miller’s former entrance theme called “Somebody Call My Momma”! The whole WWE Universe was stunned, including myself. He was right, we all didn’t see this coming. I think this gimmick will be great for Clay. The Funkasaurus showed lots of personality that we thought he didn’t have at all. He can be successful with this persona as long as he does something new every now and then or else the act will grow old quickly. So far so good Brodus!

He’s the youngest WWE Superstar to be inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame, Edge! The man has done it all AND won it all. Multiple-time Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion, US Champion, King of the Ring, Royal Rumble Winner, Slammy Awardee, Money in the Bank Winner, 7x World Heavyweight Champion and most importantly, 4x WWE Champion. If that line doesn’t warrant you a quick trip to the WWE HOF then I something’s terribly wrong. Edge deserves to be inducted THIS YEAR and I applaud WWE for realizing that right away. That’s probably one of the best careers a wrestler can dream of. Adam Copeland, popularly known as Edge, got to live the life he dreamed of.

“Break the Walls Down!” Marked out big time on that one! Chris Jericho is now finally back on WWE TV and ready to kick ass ‘aga-yn’! We were waiting for him to lay out his explanations regarding the viral videos that have been aired for the past few weeks, whom the children represent, why they were saying this and that, and so much more. Instead, we got a very weird response from Y2J – the silent treatment. Presentation-wise, it was weird seeing Jericho smiling widely and supposedlu having GENUINE fun with the crowd so it was quite hard to watch knowing that it’s not his personality.  Writing-wise, this was a pure stroke of GENIUS. What better way to keep the fans guessing about Chris’ new agenda in the WWE other than shutting his mouth? Nothing! I applaud the creative for having the guts to pull this off. Casual fans didn’t appreciate the return and immediately judged this as a failure. Not for me (and to smart fans out there). I’m not that smart but I can SMELL the heel turn from a mile away. It might not happen right away but rest assure Chris Jericho is gonna be a villain and will most likely feud with CM Punk for the WWE Title OR the Best in the World monicker. Can you see what Y2J’s doing? My hunch is he’s out there to prove CM Punk wrong in every aspect. From being voiceless (no pipebombs = power like Punk?) to being the best in the world at what he does. Or maybe save us from the abominable WWE programming lately? Whatever the storyline will be, Chris Jericho is back to make WWE RAW special again!

It’s a brand new year for everyone of us..meaning it’ll also be a brand new start for a lot of WWE Superstars, aiming to improve their game and reach greener pastures. Drew McIntyre is no exception. If you watched SmackDown this past Friday, you saw how Teddy Long signed Drew McIntyre back to his show. Drew will need to perform better and get some wins or he will get cut from the roster. Eventually, he lost his return match against Ezekiel Jackson. Teddy didn’t fire Drew right away after that so it probably means we’ll be seeing Drew weekly hereon to continue this storyline. That’s good. I can easily see him losing another match or two then finally finding his way back to the win column by either becoming a face or getting his vicious groove back against a top Smackdown babyface (Sheamus for instance). It can mean only good things to come for the once called “Chosen One”. Now as the Desperate One, as Michael Cole called him this week, Drew McIntyre is finally back on TV and gets a promising push this 2012. He got buried so deep on RAW the fans CHEERED him during his entrance last Friday. Fans certainly know when a good talent gets wasted. I’m glad to see him get that reaction even though I can’t stand his act when he was pushed big time during the early part of his Chosen One gimmick. However, the way he got buried (rumors has it that it was because of former WWE Diva Tiffany, his wife) for the past year or so was just pure injustice. Yeah he became a Tag Team Champion (w/ Cody Rhodes) but it was easily forgettable. He would have done wonders on the midcard scene..a bigger posibility now here in 2012.

After WWE TLC PPV, we saw a dawning of a new era in WWE. It has no definite name like the Attitude era but that will come later. The new foundation for the WWE has been laid out by crowning these excellent wrestlers (or sports entertainers as WWE would like to call them). CM Punk retained his WWE Championship, Daniel Bryan won the World Heavyweight Championship via his MITB cash-in, Cody Rhodes defended his Intercontinental Championship successfully, Zack Ryder FINALLY won the US Title, Beth Phoenix retained her Divas Championship Belt and the team of Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston, Air Boom, defended successfully their Tag Team Titles. And now, these guys are enjoying their success, and they deserved every bit of it. These guys worked their butts off to be in the position they are right now. Yes, they may not reek ratings right now as the RAW viewership stats showed last week..give them a couple of months or so and I believe they will be able to prove that WWE doesn’t need Cena hogging the main event scene to get ratings.
