Look who has turned face BIG TIME! Honestly, I didn’t see this one coming anytime soon at all. I thought Alex Riley would stick around with The Miz for a little bit longer even after he got berated but alas, here he is right now, on a major roll. His alliance with The Awesome One has truly benefited A-Ry. He’s lookin’ good and strong right now by totally annihilating his former employer for two weeks straight already. Who wouldn’t want to trash an asshole boss after you making you his/her bitch? This formula works especially when you build up the association of those two persons on a long term basis and then boom, the big payoff happens when you least expect it. This Alexy Riley-Miz feud is money. Hopefully this will propel A-Ry to the next level, not necessarily the main event level right away but definitely a notch higher than where he’s at right now.

Alex Riley is coming into his own and I’m excited for him to get his character going. Where he goes from here, I dunno. The sky’s the limit though for this young WWE Superstar. Probably make him a more badass face like Orton, using his temper and mean streak to beat the top heels on the RAW brand. The next few weeks will determine whether A-Ry is up to the challenge of being a bigger star or not. I’m betting he’ll do just fine.

WrestleMania 27 is 1 week away! Are you guys ready for the biggest wrestling PPV of the year? Lock your seat belts because we’ll be in for a roller coaster ride with these main event matches! The World Heavyweight Championship match features the Rated R Superstar, Edge versus the brash Alberto Del Rio. For the WWE Championship match, it’s the man of awesome, The Miz against Mr. Hustle, Loyalty and Respect (and not talented enough accdg. to The Rock), John Cena. And the match that will probably end WrestleMania 27, it’s the Game, Triple H challenging the Last Outlaw, The Undertaker with his WrestleMania Streak on the line. Pretty solid main event matches if you ask me. If Christian somehow gets included in the WHC match, not only will this wallpaper fail, but it would ruin the Alberto’s mega push because this is his time to shine and he needs this to be a one-on-one match against Edge to solidify his position on the main event ranks. It wouldn’t hurt Christian though (and in the past few weeks, it seems like he was the Royal Rumble winner and not Del Rio) so it can really go either way for me.

As for the WWE Championship match, hopefully we’ll be treated to some Rock interference or post-match brawl between these 3 WWE Superstars. Ever since Rock came back, you can’t deny that this feud got a much-needed boost. Both Miz and Cena are benefiting from this hot angle right now. Continue this until Summerslam and fans will surely dig this 3-way feud. Lastly, the chances of Triple H winning against Undertaker is ZERO. NO ONE IS GONNA BREAK THE STREAK. Triple H is gonna ‘die’ trying.

This week, we saw the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin (and JBL for a few minutes) and man, I must say I’m really proud to be a huge WWE fan nowadays. Even my peers are raving about this year’s WrestleMania season and how couldn’t they? Triple H, Undertaker, Trish Stratus, The Rock and now, Stone Cold Steve Austin in just a span of 1 month. Talk about laying all down the aces!

There have been ramblings around the net about how WWE Attitude era is owning WWE PG recently. Yes, I do wish that they eventually get rid of the PG programming but let’s be realistic here, do you guys really see WWE giving up the PG stuff anytime soon? As much as most adult fans want that, the future doesn’t look that way. After WrestleMania 27, most likely the Attitude era nostalgia will be gone again. Stone Cold and The Rock aren’t staying no matter what they say, Triple H is ready to relocate to the corporate ranks and Shawn Michaels is happily retired. The Undertaker has 1-2 years left in his body so he’s the only one who’ll probably stay from these veterans.

No one can deny how these guys have brought ratings up again these past few weeks and to see them feud with the likes of John Cena, Randy Orton, Alberto del Rio, The Miz and CM Punk would be a total treat for everyone. The Rock-Cena-Miz angle has been gold already. How about Stone Cold mixing up with Randy Orton? Even adult fans won’t have anything bad to say about that. I say have them stay until SummerSlam! Just dreaming.

It was RAW-some alright! This week’s WWE RAW gave us a lot of storyline twists and turns like Cena’s farewell address and Ezekiel Jackson qualifying for the KOTR tournament – okay that wasn’t something we should be excited about. Then after the main event rematch between Randy Orton and Wade Barrett for the WWE Championship, AWESOMEEE! was heard all over the arena and then it hit me (and everyone else probably), that this is going to be Miz’ WWE championship crowning night. It took a while before he was able to knock Orton out with the Skull Crushing Finale, probably to add a lil’ bit of suspense, and after the three count, a new WWE Champion was crowned. You can see Miz’ real emotions flowing when he held that belt, finally climbing the top of the main event ladder. I honestly admit that I counted this guy out as soon as he and Morrison went separate ways. Well, I was proven wrong. And I’m glad I was wrong. Couldn’t be any happier for the guy. Congratulations Miz!

After buying 3 PS3 games this October alone, I subjected myself to some major credit card payin’ next month. Nonetheless, when WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2011 releases later this week (October 28 I believe), my looming credit card issues won’t stop me from buying this baby. It’ll be my first WWE game for PS3 since I decided not to buy SVR 2010 before. I hope I won’t get disappointed with this game, even if it’s getting early rave reviews from gaming sites.

Play first, work later. That’ll be my new motto, for the whole November at least haha

Michael Cole, for storyline purposes, has been building up The Miz every chance he gets. Who could blame the man? The Miz is the hottest rising WWE Superstar as of the moment. At first, most of us, if not everyone, thought that he was a joke, that he’s bound to stay in midcard hell..but he proved everyone wrong. I even thought that when he said that he’s the Shawn Michaels of his team with John Morrison was nothing but pure BS. Boy was I ever wrong. The guy certainly has widen the gap between him and Morrison. Also, his constant feud with Daniel Bryan has always been something to look forward to. That says a lot about The Miz. He’s riding a hot streak right now and will probably culminate with a WWE Championship win at WrestleMania 27. That would be awesome for WWE’s next main eventer.
