This Shield wallpaper might say it’s going to be the last time for them, the ironic thing about it though is that each and every week, Dean Ambrose apparent exit from WWE is looking be a masterful work of leading the fans to believe that this is it for The Lunatic. A lot of fans see this angle as well. We’ll see after WrestleMania 35. For now though, the Hounds of Justice are back together again for the nth time haha. If Dean’s really a goner in a few weeks, let’s hope that this final run by the returning Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose as The Shield be the most memorable one ever.
The Hounds of Justice are back! Really, at this point, everyone is just happy about it, whether you hate Roman Reigns or not. The only intriguing thing about this reunion is will it last? They basically don’t have a group to feud with aside from the Miztourage and The Bar (and Braun Strowman of course) unless The Authors of Pain or Sanity debuts during or after Survivor Series. It’ll be interesting to see if Roman Reigns turns heel on his good brothers and finally start a long overdue heel tear. Then again, as if WWE will pull the trigger on something like that.

The megamatch that was originally rumored to be part of WrestleMania 34 will instead come early at WWE No Mercy. We’re not sure why but there must be some good reason behind it. Besides, WWE has no problems doing multiple rematches so I won’t be surprised if this match happens again next year at WrestleMania, with the Universal Championship on the line. Right now, it’s about being the man in the WWE.
At this point, there’s no hope to turn John Cena heel anymore. With Reigns though, it is certainly possible. Just pull the trigger WWE. He has been bastardized enough on the mic by Cena it’s not even fair. If I’m Reigns, I’d just shut up and kick John’s ass all over the arena. Let’s just get it done.
After weeks of word war, with Cena owning Reigns all the time, there’s a huge chance Roman Reigns wins round 1 at No Mercy. This won’t be a one-time thing for sure. The fans are now excited to see the match and you could just imagine the crowd reaction during the match. Rowdy might be an understatement!
Former Shield brothers Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins reunited for a common purpose and that’s to be RAW Tag Team Champs. And they did just that. With no immediate and credible threat to their tag team titles, it’s safe to say that these guys will be tag champs for quite some time. The feel-good reunion will come to an end at some point for sure as these 2 individuals have proven themselves to be better as singles competitors. Also, will Roman Reigns align himself with his former brothers as well? Whether you love/hate Roman or not, you have to admit that’s an intriguing possibility.
It has come full circle for these 3, with Dean Ambrose defending his WWE Championship (not WWEWHC anymore) against his former Shield teammates Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. This championship match could’ve been saved for SummerSlam but I guess WWE has other plans. Nonetheless, it’ll be interesting what happens here moving forward since this might be the last time, for this year at least, we’ll see them fight in a triple threat match for the WWE Championship.
The Lunatic Champion has been made to look strong so far, regardless of rumors that he’ll be dropping the title to either of the 2 challengers before SummerSlam. The impending draft also complicates things for these 3 WWE Superstars although there’s always that possibility of having all 3 in the same brand but that’s almost wishful thinking. Another tricky part here is what Roman Reigns we’ll see after serving a 1 month suspension. Does he finally makes that much-needed heel turn or will he play a redemption angle and claim back the WWE Championship? Meanwhile, Seth Rollins has been on a roll (no pun intended) lately. I’d love to see him walk out as champ if Dean won’t retain the title. The Architect might be a heel right now but WWE is obviously prepping him for a big babyface run. That run could be more effective if he has the WWE Championship.

Rounding up the last of the 3 wrestling wallpapers that revolved around the former members of The Shield is today’s wallpaper offering featuring The Roman Empire, Roman Reigns! It was unfortunate that he got injured last month thus halting his momentum..however, if you look at it on another perspective, it might be a blessing in disguise considering some of the fans are already slowly turning against him this early in his face ride because of the similarities between him and John Cena. When he comes back in a few weeks, I hope Mr. Reigns will have something of an edge in him and just get away with the “get beaten early-momentum shift-sure win” mode that looks exactly Cena’s blueprint. Right now, Seth Rollins and especially Dean Ambrose are already main eventing PPVs. Roman Reigns is getting beat after starting hot early. We’ll see if he can start another momentum into WrestleMania 31 and make that Brock Lesnar matchup happen for real.

Seth has done a solid job in his Authority poster boy act that he’s the #1 heel in WWE right now, if you count out Brock Lesnar that is. He has played his role so well that it’s helping him and Dean Ambrose become the feud of 2014. After his rivalry with the Lunatic Fringe, I wouldn’t mind him curb stomping and beating Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship especially if The Beast can’t even show up on PPVs to defend his championship. Right now though, I honestly don’t see it happening anytime soon. He’ll be cashing that briefcase most likely after WrestleMania 31, with a sure win to top it all off.

If you ask me who’s on a hot streak right now between the three of them? Definitely it’s this guy. Roman Reigns is being primed to be the next big babyface..but the fans have been more receptive recently for Dean. He’s probably the biggest underdog right now, especially with Daniel Bryan on the shelf. I have to be honest I was skeptical before if he can pull off this babyface role since he’s a natural heel. But man, he’s doing real good right now in this role. It only proves that Ambrose is not just a midcard material but a bonafide main eventer in due time.

Even before his memorable and dominating performance on this year’s Survivor Series, Roman Reigns has been slowly catching fire with his silent but beastly character. For old timers, we can notice his development has similarities to Batista’s before (speaking of The Animal, heard the news already?). I’m still not comfortable with him speaking on the mic, but that skill will improve over time. It’s just a matter of when the WWE Universe will get behind the guy. If done right, we might have another big star in the making. The eventual breakup of The Shield will also help him with that push. Looks like Reigns will be the first Shield member going straight to the top. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins will go there too someday.
Sorry again everyone for the lack of updates. I’ve been SO BUSY with work lately. Even went to a short US trip for that. Anyway, I’m back! Will try to squeeze in a few more before 2013 ends 😉
